Charlie and John's bowling birthday party

Way back in March we had a bowling party for Charlie and Daddy. Charlie made Daddy a birthday card, and was so excited to give it to him! I wrote about John's birthday and Charlie's birthday a little bit already, but this is the catchup on the party side. :)

Grandma Sue (who loves to bowl!) was recovering from a bad knee, so she volunteered to watch George during the bowling party. He was really entertained by the arcade games!

 Charlie has always been so naturally athletic, that I'm not really surprised that he naturally has great bowling form!

       

John and I went on a rare date night and found ourselves at the store shopping for fun Easter and birthday gifts for the kids. Such a parent thing to do! But it was really fun. We decided to get Charlie a Hot Wheels track for his car collection. He loved it! (Although, we learned our lesson about suggested age requirements (this one is 5+) - he liked to take it apart more than play with it sometimes).
