Baby Eh-bef

We had the most fun with our cousin Elizabeth (aka Eh-bef or just Bef, as Charlie calls her) this summer! Cat and Richard were here for an amazing 8 weeks and we relished every day we had with them! Catherine (and Richard) were both SO helpful with our big move- Cat would call me practically every day and help me with some project or another. My house was organized and ready for the new baby to come because of their help.

playing at Grandma Bev's house in the early morning

Last playdate :(
At the zoo- Charlie was equally terrified and fascinated with the animatronic dinosaurs and Elizabeth was completely ambivalent about them!

At the good old MP13 ward party. I was flying solo with Charlie and all he wanted to do was play in the gross water fountain. Luckily, Catherine and Richard showed up and they helped me chase him around for a while.

Ward friends- Cat and Elizabeth, Allison and Emme, Kristy, me (and gigantic belly)

Elizabeth enjoying one of Bishop Moffat's soft serve ice cream cones (I miss that ward so much already!)

the aftermath

We went to Discovery Gateway (the children's museum) one afternoon with Elizabeth and Catherine.  It was right before closing time on a school day and we practically had the place to ourselves!

Elizabeth and Charlie were trying so hard to share with each other, especially at this cool PVC pipe/ping pong ball exhibit.

Playing in Grandma Bev's yard is always a hit and Elizabeth was well accessorized this day

Charlie "watering the garden"- he usually misses and gets the dirt instead, making a nice mud puddle for pebbles to splash into.

Grandma pushing Elizabeth in the swing- she loved it so much that she eventually started falling asleep!

playing at my new house while Cat and Richard helped hang up my gallery of family portraits (they helped me so much!!)

One of our last outings with our cousin- to get frozen yogurt. Charlie wanted to hold Elizabeth's hand and she loved it!
Thanks for a fun summer! We are going through withdrawal!
