Pool Party

Figuring out how to include a baby in your life takes some balancing. I realized that Charlie doesn't really get that excited about new outings at this age- he really craves routine and that means being at home. But mommy still needs to get out so she doesn't go crazy. Plus, we want to begin to expose Charlie to different experiences so he can learn and grow and begin to enjoy new things!


So we took Charlie and James to the pool and we had so much fun! Thanks to Mark and Chelsea for inviting us to join them. We spent about twenty minutes in the water before Charlie was ready for some food and a nap in the shade. He was laughing and splashing in the water, although I think he just tolerated the water and really loved having intense attention from mom and dad.
