My dad planned a fun sledding outing for some of the grandkids. John and I had so much fun taking our kids sledding for the first time! I made all the kids wear helmets and 6 months later, I stand by that decision, even though my dad thought it was overkill. :) It was freezing that day, and poor George couldn't even walk in his snow gear, but we endured. I convinced Uncle Sam to tag along on this Spencer outing and I'm so glad he came. It was nice to have another strong guy around. And he's pretty fun, too.
