Last cabin trip of the summer

We spent a good part of Labor Day weekend at the cabin. The weather was gorgeous, crisp and autumnal. The conversation and company were divine. We shared a delicious meal (lime and herb butter chicken, Greek salad with homemade croutons, fresh fruit (kiwis! berries! melon! mango!), artisan bread, and vegetables grown in Kate and Jeff's garden). After dinner we took a leisurely walk through the woods with babies strapped to our bodies. The mountains and light bewitched me and Kate was my muse for some impromptu photos. We adopted a slower pace (except for a few games of Nertz). It was blissful.
