George 10 months

This was a busy month for us. We had Sam and Meg's wedding, your first camping trip, and Kerry had her second skin graft surgery (which ended up not taking, which necessitated two more surgeries).

You turned 10 months old on the Fourth of July. You had a bad fever, so we kept it pretty relaxed.

Survived a road trip (barely!) to go camping with John's family.

Still love the bath and are wiggly and silly, you love to crawl around and try to stand up.

Lots of play dates with Sam and Lily and Kerry, and Catherine and Elizabeth and Mark

Continue to love eating! Favorite foods include cantaloupe, watermelon, chicken, and you love drinking from a straw and eating ice.

eating apricots from our trees

Got you a high chair that clips on the counter and you love being up where the action is next to Charlie. You like to sit in there while I work in the kitchen and we often have dance parties. You love my cheesy moves and you like to dance along.

Started swaddling you again and you fall asleep more quickly (and stay asleep from transfer from my arms to the crib better). I put you on your back in the crib when you are asleep and then you roll over immediately onto your tummy.

Had a play date with your cousins Emma and James while they were in town. We sure miss them!

Chelsea and Mark had a barbecue while they were visiting. It's always fun to socialize with them because all three of us were in the same graduating class, so a lot of our high school friends were there.

Not the best picture of me, but I love the look on George's face looking at all the girls

Catherine and baby Mark were at the party, too

We were so glad we Daddy got to the party from working at his new job in Provo. The longer hours and the commute have been hard to get used to!

You've been VERY attached to Mama and have needed a lot of extra holding and cuddling. There have been many times when you won't even go to Daddy.

Still going strong on nursing, which is a relief, because Charlie had self-weaned by this age.

You love to brush your hair, you're so proud of yourself.

We love this cute little boy!
