May 2013

These catchup posts are starting to be hugely long and difficult to follow. Oh well, they are better than nothing, right?

Little helper- Grandpa built us a firepit in the yard! George and Charlie loved to "help" and get right in the way.

Risky Business ?

celebrating my friend Andrea's birthday- this has become a fun new group of pals for me and the kids!

Lily turned 7 and had a fun swimming party!

My friend Kristy had a baby shower

Grandma and Grandpa Spencer gave us their slide and playhouse materials- I propped in in our apricot tree one day just to try it out. It has ended up being its permanent spot!

Playhouse porch railing turned ladder

We attempted some portraits on Mother's Day

Can you tell these were at the end of the day? Charlie is eating Cheetos and George is not having it at all.

Charlie really wanted a picture of all the boys next to Daddy's car. I know we'll look back in twenty years and laugh at how funny our cars looked!

Charlie had a fun playdate with his new friends Mae and James from our playgroup

Grandpa and Grandma also gave us their fun backyard swing

Is this the best 4-year-old picture of Charlie, or what?

More fun on the slide (and a rare moment of playing nicely together)

Look at that tongue concentrating!

This little guy is just so much fun!

Creative use of the blankey

Hmm, let's find a nice branch to hang our boots on...

Found one!

"I'm sleeping in my house, Mom"

Business in the outfit, party on the couch...

A little quality train time with Dad

Got one!

"It tickles!"

Grandma and Grandpa Thornton's is always popular

This month, Georgie started to really be into trains

Squeezing into a romper from last summer was pretty entertaining for mom

Pretty blue eyed George

Baby Jude's Grandpa Bob restored this gorgeous antique school desk for him for his birthday. One day at a family gathering, he climbed up in it all by himself! He was so proud and it was such a cute surprise to walk in the room to.

Backyard snapshot
This diaper wedgie just had to be documented

John's aunt Kathy made this gorgeous Mondrion inspired quilt for her daughter-in-law's baby shower!

"Look at my cool trick, Mom!"

"Look at this one!"

"What about this one?"

starting to lose interest but he still wants my attention
