My big three-year-old!
Way back in March my big boy turned 3! For John and Charlie's birthday party (they are 4 days apart), we had a low key gathering in our backyard. Both Charlie and George had fevers and weren't feeling up to our original plan of a friends and family party on Saturday. Instead, we had just our family over on Sunday (Charlie's actual birthday) to have a light dinner and brownies. It ended up being perfect. Charlie was in heaven having his cousins (Sam and Lily) and aunts and uncles and grandparents come to play. We bought him a balance bike and a new helmet and the look on his face was priceless- he was just tickled!
Charlie loved singing Happy Birthday and John loved that he got to pick out his own treat- mint brownies instead of a cake.
Happy birthday to John and Charlie!! That stinks that they were sick. Looks like you all still had fun!
