"Rough" out camp

The theme of Stake Girls Camp was "Anchored in Christ" so each ward got to choose a vessel as their camp name. We were the "Girls of the Pearl" and decked everything out in Pirate garb. It was very fun!

John got to be there for half the time as the Stake Priesthood representative and he was very helpful!! All the little girls had crushes on him!!



We kept telling silly pirate jokes (it was part of our skit). A sample one:
Why do the pirates have trouble sleeping at night?
Because the ground is too haarrrrrrd.







Our roughing it included sunbathing by the lake.

    Ahhh, girls camp! So many memories. It's probably a fun experience to go back as a leader instead of a participant!
