We bought Lippy the Laptop a little brother, Lappy the Laptop. John is in heaven with TWO MacBooks! This is a picture of John with the laptops, but really we usually are sitting side by side on the couch, the nerdiest couple ever.
Wow. Most people put really cute, excited pictures up of their children. How much do I love that John gets that excited about laptops? More than I love sharp cheddar, and that's a lot. PS--Eric's POS laptop (two point five years old = ANCIENT) is about to die. How much would you recommend a Mac Book Pro on a scale of Red to Violet?
I love my Mac, hands down, it's the best. As for the Mac Book Pro, I'll admit, it's more machine than what I use it for (writing papers, blogging, iPhoto, etc.) John needs his for fancy computer programmer stuff, but I would recommend saving some bucks and just getting a regular Mac Book (white or black instead of silver). We're talking $1000 vs. $2000. Check out http://store.apple.com for comparison shopping (don't forget, you may get a student discount at the Y bookstore). H + K!
